With reference to our conversation over

the telephone yesterday, I send, herewith, a copy

of an intercepted letter from Alois Lamm of

Amsterdam to Jul. Lamm of London, in which

reference is made to the firm of Bune & Reif of

Hong Kong, in connection with which a licence

to trade has been granted to Mr. Reif.

I may add, for your information, that Alois

Lawn of Amsterdam trades as Lamm Brothers and

appears in the Statutory List under that name.

The books of Jul. Tamm of London have been

C.B.L. Tennyson, Esq., C.M.G.

inspected
